What is a seamless carousel?
A seamless carousel (also called a swipeable panorama) is one wide image cut into equal slides and posted as a single Instagram carousel. Because every slide shares its edges with the next one, swiping feels like panning across one continuous photo: a landscape, a group shot, a product lineup, or a long infographic that keeps unfolding.
Seamless carousels are one of the most reliable engagement formats on Instagram. Instagram carousel sizes and limits

- Upload slides in numbered order and never re-crop them in Instagram's composer; any adjustment shifts the seam.
- Keep critical details away from the outer edges, where feed padding can shave a few pixels.
- Write a caption that references the last slide ("wait for slide 5") to pull people through the full swipe.
- Post from the exported PNGs directly. Re-compressing or screenshotting slides softens the seam line.
